What sets our process apart is the meticulous attention to detail. The journey begins with a row of stainless cups attached to a modular belted elevator, picking up and placing single sprouts onto an HDP (High Density Polypropylene) product block with precision-machined bowls. Operatives then embark on the straightforward task of orienting the sprouts, ensuring the stalk faces downward. As the sprouts traverse the machine, any excess stalk protruding from the underside of the product carriers is precisely and cleanly trimmed. Waste is seamlessly directed onto an internal conveyor, exiting to the side of the machine. The trimmed sprouts continue their journey through the machine, onto a modular belted elevator, usually leading to be discharged into our de-leafing drum.
